  1. Welcome to the forum and Missouri. I hope the transfer of being a Seahawks fan to a Rams/Chiefs fan is easy for you.
  2. Walmart in Branson on the strip has some in sporting goods dept.
  3. Try trolling with rainbow rapaalas small to large.
  4. I was up in the park area till about 9:30 then went down to the dairy farm access. To get to the dairy farm there is a bridge right before you get into Crane Creek town. There is a road to the right just before the bridge. Take that road and then take your first left and there is a Missouri Conv Dept parking lot there
  5. My biggest fish I lost was a huge brown just below outlet 2. I was fishing in a tournament and had caught my 4 fish I needed and was pretty confident that I was in the lead, so I decided to spend the remaining time hunting big browns. I was fishing the north bank and saw a massive brown about 8 inches from the shore line. I threw my fly about 15 feet upstream from him and had a perfect drift right by his nose. He moved about 6 inches to sip in my fly and wammo the fight was on. I have caught quite a number of big browns, but nothing this size. From the looks of him he was all of 24" and maybe about 15 lbs give or take. Normally I like to land these big fish myself and bank them, it just seems easier for me, but the tournament director was there and asked if he could net him. I didn't want to be rude, so I said sure. The fish goes down to the rebar hole and then back up and then down for a second time and just as the net was w/i inches of the big brown, he shook his head one more time and broke me off. My heart was racing and I thought man that would have sealed the deal and put me in first place for sure. I got lucky though and took first place anyway.
  6. I would start at the dam and just troll down to Swan Creek with large rapallas. My buddy and I went last Saturday and were trolling the left bank as your going up to the dam and he caught a 4lb walley on a rainbow rapalla. If you fish the other side of the bank closer to Swan Creek with live minnows you can catch some white bass and largemouth as well.
  7. I went down there this morning and fished by the park and had one fish on for a while but he got off. My buddy went down by the dairy farm and caught a few and had a big one on in the one of the deep holes. I was using a pheasant tail nmph and a wd 40. It is a beautiful place to fish, even if you don't catch any.
  8. What were they biting on and were they spooky? I'm sure 7x was in order or not?
  9. I'm going i can't wait. I have never been to one before and I'm bringing my 6 year old girl who just learned how to whip finish last night.
  10. You will be sorely missed. You taught me some neat night flies.
  11. I wish all the white bass would have a meeting between outlet 1 and outlet 3.
  12. I sell tiemsahres for a living on ebay and I can tell you that you will never get what you paid for your timeshare if you sell it. The average sales price for any timeshare no matter where it is is about $400.
  13. Welcome. The more the merrier. Maybe you can give us some good poaching tips.
  14. I bought a 9 ft Sage Launch and broke the tip off in my car door a year ago. I took it to the shop with my case and dropped it off. They mailed it for me and Sage could not repair the rod for me, so they replaced it with a brand new rod. I paid $14 for shipping and was very happy. Sage is awesome.
  15. If you plan on sueing a timeshare company expect a long wait in line. I'm pretty sure they have a lot more money for attorneys than the general joe out there. I have heard of so many people that are going to sue the developer and yet they never have ever won. It is a noble thought, but very unlikely you would win.
  16. Big Ugly is a name of a popular dry fly.
  17. I say October 17, 2009
  18. I know a clouser works good, but does any one have a favorite fly for white bass that they just tear them up on?
  19. Looks great. How long did it take you to complete that?
  20. Welcome to the forum. I was at Bull Shoals on Sunday and my friend caught a 4 lb walleye trolling with a large rainbow trout rapalla. We went into Swan Creek and right by the tennis courts there is a great channel where there is a ton of fish. White Sliders seem to be working very well there.
  21. Jeremy, What location is it at?
  22. Thank you for the clarification. I saw it at Phils shop. If he sells them I wonder if he would sell the material to tie them. It would make sense, as almost all other shops do this.
  23. So much for people being helpful on this forum.
  24. I thought Jeremy Hunt was teaching a fly tying class at the Hatchery. Anyone know exactly where and what time? Is it a weekly class?
