    Water Color

THINKIN ABOUT PUTTING IN at cc/greenfield in the morning and was wondering if anyone could give a report on water color or even a fishing report for that area.
  8. the important thing is that the KIDS had a great time.... with that said i dont think that we will ever take another group of kids down there. we couldnt believe all the boat traffic between turners and whitten. as a bass fisherman i have always heard the comments about how rude we are in our big fast bass boats and how we never slow for smaller boats on the water well after this weekend i'll never listen to that again from anyone! i dont know many time guys in there flat-bottem boat never slowed as they passed one of us and caused the kids to tip. i and my partner had to bale out our canoe because a boater never slowed as he came around the bend!!!! i couldnt believe it when a guy at whitten told another guy that all they had done all day was "slam beers and drive up and down the river"
  9. THANKS FOR THE TIP!!!!!
  10. thanks for the help!!!!!
  11. looked at that chart from that link and i just want to make sure i understand... its says no plastics so that means even for smallies?? and if so i cant fish them until we pass turners?? i'm a bass guy and i'm confussed about no plasctics ..... tubes, worms, ect..???

  14. i went up the the river 3/20 not much luck caught 3 lm but no whites or walleye. did talk to several guys said the fishing had been decent not good but decent on 3/17 but the front moved thru that night and it hadnt been good since. i'm planning on goin tomarrow cousins are on springbreak so well see if its gotten beter. of all theguys i talked to maybe two had caught good females and they were caught west of the aldrich bridge in the late afternoon evening.
  15. yea i would agree and even the ramps to the north of state park would be good its when you get into the "river arms" of the lake you need to worry about lower units if your new to the lake. maybe this link will help : http://mdcgis.mdc.mo.gov/website/stocktonl...hstructures.pdf

THE PIC WONT COME FOR ME IS IT POSTED ON THE FLW SITE? OR COULD SOMEBODY SHOOT IT TO ME VIA E-MAIL?
  18. i would say if the weather holds up next sunday could be prime time if you can fight everyone off i checked the weather.com and its supposed to be in the 60's starting tues the 17th thru the weekend. when i was up there 3/13 there were lots of little ones and i DO mean little ones caught, tons of boat and bank traffic. water between orleans and taylors bridges was 57-60 depending on the depth. if you do go up the river be careful the lakes at power pool so stay in the channel the best you can until it drops off before the mouth of the lil sac. i hope to be up there 3/19-3/20. i'll try to not to catch them all.
  19. i was up there friday and they're just not there yet, lots of small ones being caught but this weather has got things so messed up.
