Hello everyone! Went to Beaver Monday, planning onjust tearing them up, wrong. We didn't catch a fish till probably 11:00 or so. The water level has dropped considerably since last Saturday. That cold snap we had last week must have affected them more than I anticipated. All the fish we caught were right at the end of Slough Hollow, right above the bluff on Sanders' farm. They were all males, nowhere near ready. The water is really clear, and shallow up at the Whistles. I would say it will be another week or two, before much happens over there. I'm starting to here some really good reports from Norfork. I think I might try over there this week sometime. Until next time Happy Fishin' God Bless!!

I'll be going Monday, so I will have a new report for you all. I've been getting reports from my brother, who lives in Kissee Mills, and fishes about every night, he says the fishin' is starting to really pick up around the whistles. He caught some nice sows right before this last cold snap. He said they were starting to hit those ever famous "blue back" rebels. Last Saturday, Me,my son, and him all caught our limit of nice studs. We used mainly whitr roostertails and sliders, fished slow. Until later, good fishin' to all!

How is fishing up around the highway 10 bridge area of the Spring? There ought to be some sows up there by now.
