  2. Ya, it's just fair at Stockton. Killed this one there last year, with a bow.
  3. Just curious if anyone has had any luck yet on whites busting shad on the flats. I've been working a lot so I hadn't been out yet. I'm going here before too long out of Mutton Creek.
  4. Are you fishing from the bank or from a boat?
  5. Were you fishing from the bank or from a boat? Just curious.
  6. Nadams824, the largemouth bite is awesome right now. I have been getting my big fish on the jig off of chunk rock banks. Me and my son caught probably 15 or 20, with 4 big keepers in about 2 hours at cedar ridge Tuesday afternoon. Hope this helps you!
  7. Powerdive, that's where we've been catching them also. Most of the ones we are catching are blowing their eggs as they come out of the water. You can catch males all day in 15 to 25ft.
  8. The bass have been hammer'n the jig and chunk for me. Watermelon green
  9. Catch them on lake or river?
  10. What were you using and how deep were you fishing?
  11. Were you fishing with minnows Straw Hat?
  12. Yes we were fishing under lights, one green and one white. We fished from dark till about 2 in the morning.
  13. We were fishing along a bluff. We actually went to the same spot Friday evening and caught 20 big crappie, 3 keeper walleye, and 16 nice whites. Still caught several shorts though. Hope this info helps, slowtroller!
  14. Went out the other night, not expecting much. Wow was I surprised. Caught 2 limits of nice crappies, all over 12". Caught probably 40 shorts. Also caught several nice whites. No walleye. This probably won't last much longer. Fish were about 20' down, with the boat setting in 40'. If you get a chance, take a kid fishing. It will make memories your kids will never forget. This is a great type of fishing for kids, if they get tired they can just lay down and go to sleep! Until next time, Good fishin' to ya!
  15. Phil, I'm with ya on that one. I can catch just as many on the ole slider as they can on the a-rig. Try down there just beloww cedar on that flat that runs out in the lake, I've been catching some really big whites down there. Hoping to go as soon as this snow gets gone!
  16. Well me and my son made a trip down Friday. Really nice day and fishing was pretty good to add. Caught all our big fish still down around Cedar creek. Caught several up just below the barker hole all day. The a-rig was working very well up on the main lake areas we fished. Pearl slider is pretty well my go to bait for whites on bull shoals. My son was doing real good on the parrot color swimmin minnow, right off the mud line. I graphed the most fish still well below beaver, but could only get that bite real early. Well good fishin' till next time:-) whitebassman out!
  17. Rs5605 can I get up to the area between high point and aldrich with a fiberglass bass boat? My little boy is wanting to go up there and catch some of those whites. R u putting in at cedar or high point? I've never put in at high point so didn't even know how to get to that ramp. Thanks for any info.
  18. Phil, that is actually where I really started get on them last year, is right there below snap before you get to the bluff. Every morning till about 9, you could pull up there and just slaughter them 2.5 to 3 pounders. Im just really afraid this isnt gonna be near as good as last. I moved up here close to Stockton this year. Im kind of looking forward to hittin them crappie up below 39 bridge this year. Im a lot closer now!! Take a youngn' fishin every chance you get, they will graduate the next thing ya know!! whitebassman out:)
  19. Is anybody catchin' any whites down toward Cedar Creek yet? I was thinking about making a trip down but didn't know if it was too early yet. Checked my fishin calendar from last year and on Febuary 20th we caught 26 nice sows down there. I figure this year is gonna be a completly different ballgame though! Well happy fishin' to all.
  20. Well, I'm starting to hear a few reports of whites being caught down toward Snap. Anybody been lately? I went week before last and only caught one big sow white and a big sow crappie. Caught lots of barely short crappie. Planning on going in a week or two. I'll update after trip. I think I'll hit Norfork this week. Starting to get some good reports of walleye down there. Well until next time happy fishin' and God Bless! Chris

  24. Hello everyone! What a trip I had yesterday. I put in at the Stump Hole, motored up to right above the Pump Hole, and instantly got into them. First, I started catching males and then sows, and nice ones. The bait of choice seemed to be white rooster tails. I caught a few on lil fishies and sliders. I ended up with 7 sows and the rest big males. I got a good report from above the Tecumseh Bridge. A guy I work with had 12, with several of them nice sows. He said they were hittin' rebels up there. Might have to hed up there later this week. Until next time, Happy Fishin' and God Bless!!
  25. Crappiefisherman, my brother called last night to tell me he had limited just above Kdock, off the bank, 8 sows the rest big males. I think this rain next week might be just what we are looking for. He said the people in the boats were trolling rooster tails, and just slayin' em. Yntil next time Happy Fishin' God Bless
