Great break down J-Doc... I am the Son on the trip with Zarraspook... We had a great time out there and I learned a lot from Zarraspook on reading my graph on this last fishing trip. I have the HDS 7 Touch with structure scan. Spending the time to learn how to read and interpret you graphs is well worth the reward you will get. I hate to admit I was lacking in that area. So for anyone out there taking the time to review the YouTube videos and reading up on it can make a big difference on your fishing trip. Don't be like me and assume that you have one so you can catch fish. The only down side is having this technology, seeing the fish, and they wont bite, but that is a whole other topic... Corker...

Went out yesterday evening and started fishing around the islands. Started about 7:30pm and by 8pm added this one too the books... She was a fun fight on 6LB test line... Caught right before 8pm... We didn't hit but a few more smaller ones the rest of the evening. Only about 6 fish total and dozen or 2 hits... Was getting some action on Spook but once again no one could seem to get it in there mouth... I thought about offering up my glasses to the fish.. Last weekend my Wife caught a new PB as well... Wanted to share it... We found at the night she caught that one that the battery in our scales was toast... We thought about it many times over the week but never remember to replace it... As of today the battery is replaced so I can weigh the fish next time... Corker...

Wife and I went out fishing yesterday evening and fished the Prairie Creek area, we never lost sight of the launch ramp... Started fishing about 6:45 to about 9:30 water temp was running 64-66 for most of our time out there. Wife caught 4 keep small mouths and 2 Spots on spinner bait. The small mouths average 2 pounds. I caught 4 largemouth on a Chatter Bait. One 4+ and one 3+... The other two were in the 1.5-2.5 pound range. We let all but the spots go back. All the large mouth, 2 of the Small Mouths, and the largest Spot came after the sun went down. Also all of the fish came within 2 boat lengths prior to points and 2 boat lengths around the Points. Prior to the sun going down I had 3 swats at a spook but no takers, also threw buzz bait, KVD Laser Eye, Swim Bait and nothing. At this point I thought the wife was going to skunk me she had 3 plus a lost one at the boat by this time...But I finished strong... Unfortunately didn't take any pictures to post... Corker...
