Hey guys my grandparents have a condo at LOZ at the condos right next to Lodge of the 4 Seasons it is called Waters Edge and it has lots of boatdocks and my family have put 2 or 3 brush piles in a certain boatdock where we always used to catch loads of keeper crappie. We use jigs, live minnows, and worms and in the past year the crappie fishing has been terrible at that dock and when I move around to other docks, i cant seem to get any either. Anyone have any suggestions on what to use, how to fish it, just anything to get the good sized crappie biting!! Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

At Lake of the Ozarks by the boat ramps there are carp hanging aroud. do u think i can catch some on a wooly bugger or what kind of fly should i use?? and what kind of fly did u catch your carp on??

use a treble hook, just poke a hole in the tube and thread the line through and tie a treble hook on (preferably red) but it doesn't really matter. Using a treble hook doesn't affect the spin of the tube and it hooks the fish easily!

Hey I am going catfishing from the bank on the Mississippi river in Grafton IL. I was wondering what u suggest to use as bait...Shad, Herring, Chicken livers, or something else. I was also wondering if I manage to catch some if u guys think it is safe to eat these fish caught out of the MS??

I would like to know everyone's opinion on what the strongest terminal knot is, that is a knot for tying the line onto a hook, lure, or fly. Field and Stream suggests the San Diego Jam but personally I think that is pretty hard to tie. Any opinions are strongly welcome!

Just thought I would share a cool end of the year 8th grade art project I just finished with you guys. It is a paper-meche pig that I painted to be a fisherman, put a little fishing hat on it, an old kiddie rod, a crappie jig, and some flies and it turned out great! I had a lot of fun doing it.

I caught this 5 pounder from my neighborhood pond on a nice juicy worm while fishing with a tinylight with 4 lb test line. I fought and played it about 10 mins before I could tire it out enough to get it up to shore without it breaking the line! It was very exciting!!!!!!!!

This is a very small event held in Sunset Hills, St. Louis at a park called Watson Trails Park. There is a kids fishing derby at the lake there where you can catch catfish, bass, bluegill, ect. on May 7 starting at 6 pm and ending at 7 or 7 30 pm

Great fish I am biting at the bit to get my parents to take me and my friend trout fishing at Taney.

I just fished for catfish with chicken livers for the first time. I still have lots leftover and plan to use them to go fishing with again. I am wondering if I should store them in the freezer to keep them frozen and then thaw before fishing??? Or should I keep them in the fridge to just keep them cold???

A friend invited me to go fishing at a place back in the woods, so we got some poles and a cooler full of ice. We hooked over a dozen, but only managed to land five. My friend lost one of his poles, and couldnt jump in after it because his phone was in his pocket. Most of the fish were 2-5 lbs, but one was around 8lbs. Filled the cooler, and are planning another trip. What were you using as bait?

Great fish. I was fishing with chicken livers under a bobber the other day and I caught one cat looks like a minnow compared to your guys. I didn't weigh or measure but thought I would share it with you anyway.
