I will be in the area from wed to Sat. Can a person use a cast net in swan creek? Where's a good place to catch some kitties near where swan dumps in to Bshoals?

I'll be in the branson are wed-sat. Plenty of fishing docks in that area that are wheel chair accessible.

Sell it get out of debt. There's a good reason why the good book says "borrower is slave to the lender". On the other hand if the market there is slow you might wait till spring or,,,,,, set up a pay to hunt fee and make a few $$$ letting others hunt your land. My dad lived there for2 years and just moved away from there in september. He has lung cancer and is very frail so it became necessary for him to move close to Columbia. The fishing there was ok but I never did learn the territory enough to catch a lot of fish. I considered moving there myself to help take care of my dad but there wasn't any work.

I was planning on heading down to the Forsythe area for a day of fishing before we head to Oklahoma City for Christmas. Above/below powersite or Rockaway Beach are probably where we'll be. Can anyone tell me if AT&T Cellular has a good signal around there? So where's a good place to catch a few trout? I was also thinking about trying to catch a catfish below powersite. Any thoughts?

A friend of mine used to be an auto mechanic. He says that walfart batteries are made by exide and exide is junk. He told me to buy an Interstate battery which comes with a 2 year free replacement guaranty. When he had his garage he had several exide batteries that didn't even last 1 year that were warrantied and several that lasted less than 2 years that pi**ed off customers who never came back. I bought my Interstate last year so I don't know if it will stand the test of time yet. When I hook up my battery charger and set it on trickle it never stops charging. When I set it on 10 amp charge it charges until fully charged then quits charging and the green light comes on telling me it's done. I agree with others, don't trickle charge.

I used to visit the Forsythe/Rockaway area about 2-3 times a year growing up. My parents owned a place in Merriam Woods but have sold it about 7 years ago now. My mom passed away about 18 months ago and my dad has remarried and now lives in Warsaw Mo. Now that I'm in my 40's I'd love to live down that way for all the great fishing. You people don't know how good you've got it compared to Nebraska fishing. I am also on catfish1.com but being on this site reminds me of all the trips I made down to Rockaway Beach. The last time I was down there was October of 07. I have a picture of the tailrace below powersite dam as my desktop background on my computer.
