Hi guys....I am from Raymondville, Mo but live in STl. My mother recently passed away and left the house and 80 acres. I thought I would tell you folks about it because it is on the road to Cedar Grove State Park on the Current River. I have fished this stretch since the early 90's for trout and have done real well. If you cross right at the park Montauk State Park is right over the hill or you can go through on Ashley Creek Rd. to the Park. You are also not that far from the Jacks Fork and it is inside of ten miles to Dogs Bluff on the Big Piney River in Houston. This was my teenage fishing favorite! It is great small stretch for fly-fishing for panfish and smallies! There are more honey holes but .....I'll let you find them. LOL!
The place is a Historical Century Farm. The House was built in 1860 and the barn is the old livery from Raymondville and was moved by mule in 1923. The house has four bedrooms an 3 baths.
We are selling the house and 10 acres but one could buy the whole deal. House and 80a. The house has innumerable updates and is ready to move in. I just put in all new appliances and my late father and I are electricians and it is more than up to snuff electrically. It is on city water and has an all new septic system.. All the bath rooms are new and a lot more are new or close to new. All new windows and doors plus a new roof. The place is not expensive to heat and not hard to keep cool.
I won't go into much more but on the 10 acres and the house their is a pond [two more on the remaining 70], and some out buildings.
I have to say it is a shame but one has to do what they have to do. The house and 10 acres are only going for $138,900. the listing number for this property is #52420. We have it listed with United Country/ Bartlett Real Estate.
The Entire property, house and 80a, if one is so inclined is going for $239,900. Please call Dennis and Valerie Bartlett and they can help you with any inquiries [417-967-2298]....417-967-3396..........and 888-303-2298. Bartlett-real-estate.com
I will answer any questions you might have here though......
. This is a very beautiful place. We moved there in 1973. We planted all the trees and I will miss it dearly. FYI If one buys the 80 acres as well...It has ample turkey and deer with nice center corridor for a stand.
Bonus..........There is a great all you can eat catfish dinner place right there in Raymondville! 1 mile from the door. These things are important.
Thanks guys
