  1. yes it is. thanks for clearing it up for this couple time a year fishermen
  2. Ok i am coming down in 2 days and see a lot about the Redfin in all the threads. I have been using the silver/black Rapala original floater my whole life......never used a redfin. the look pretty much the same, other than the fact that one is wood and the other is plastic. The bodies are painted different but the lure in general is the same shape. are they interchangeable? Why one over the other? Do i need to invest in both if i have several of the Rapalas? If am used to the twitch of a rapala, should i use a redfin the same way or flip it in and bring it back slowly? In general what do you think? Redfin v. Rapala original floater?
  3. has anything changed since the storm rolled through? Did they move back off the beds or still hitting in the 3-7 foot range. and any word on the storms they are predicting for the weekend? Doesn't look like anything is sitting out west ready to move in.
  4. I'm looking for a good report on what is going on in the Kings River/Shell Knob area. I will be down there on the 28th for my yearly trip with my dad. Love to fish, but don't have a boat so renting fishing boats so we have to stay in that area. Love to fish topwater, will we be looking at being able to do that next weekend? Will fish still be on beds or moving off? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  7. thanks for the report. I am worried that the rain will slow things down for this weekend.......not sure though. i have no problem sight fishing beds, only get to go fishing away from the STL area a couple times a year and just want to catch fish.
  8. I am heading down to the camdenton area to do some fishing this weekend. Anyone have any success in that area recently? Mainly looking to fish bass.....maybe crappie if bass aren't hitting at all.
