F&F, looks like a nice catch. The weather was definitely nice. I seen and waved at you as you were leaving the ramp lastnight, I was coming in. I didn't do a fair as you, but I was after the bass variety, I don't do much striper fishing. I only managed 1 bass he was a 4lber though. I did see a couple balls of shad going nuts, I figured the stripers were below them coralling them up.

John, sorry to hear about your finger. Hope it heals sooon, I can imagine the throbbing. Good to hear the fishing was fun though. I believe I'm going to head to the Rock early Sat. morning, it gives my confidence a boost from fishing Beaver all year.

I fished toward the dam Sat. and caught many short fish and did squeak 5 keepers, but they were nothing to speak of. I threw everything at them. Couldn't get a strike on topwater, spook or wake bait. Caught some jig, texas rig worm, and shakey head. I did catch a nice walleye on a crankbait though. The tourny I was in took 17lb to win, I think 14lb was next, a few 13lb, and several 12lb bags. They didn't mention on how they were caught though. I believe I'm going to try the war eagle or white this weekend and see out it is.
