  1. Was down there (Grand Glaize arm near LORA) late last week, and despite 86 degree water temps, found penty of bass on the banks and off points in about 15 ft of water. Transition banks were productive. Lighty weighted 6/7" ribbontail plastic worms (watermellon and pumpkinseed). Going back middle of next week. Nothing over four lbs, but plenty of 15-17 inchers. Nick
  2. Shiner, If you decide to fish the Glaize you should hit them pretty good. I was down there last weekend and the water was off color (chocolate milk), but there were plenty of 10 - 12" crappie up on the banks. Good luck. NickIL
  3. Very informative. Look forward to reading more of these in the future. Thanks!
  4. Most recent fishing report for Glaize arm has white bass fishing very good in and around coves and windy points. Is there a good way to locate fish if they are not breaking the surface? Any advice would be appreciated.
  5. Thanks for the advice!
  6. Any forum members experienced the walleye population at Lake of the Ozarks? Have done most of my fishing up north where walleye are pretty common. Are they usually caught by accident, or do some fishermen target them? Thanks. Nick
  7. Hi, New member - just wanted to introduce myself. From westcentral IL. Love the outdors. Will be retiring in a couple years - dividing my time between the deer wods of west central IL and Lake of the Ozarks where we recently purchased a condo on the Grand Glaize arm. Will throw in a trip to Ontario each summer as well. I look forward to meeting some folks on here, learning from some of the regulars who fish LOTO on a regular basis, and generally hearing what folks have to say. Nick
