  1. Ya'll are all nutz and don't know nuthin'... a trout becomes wild the second he is put into the wild stream... OK... OK... OK.... I'm just bein' my typical self.... Dang, Phil... you knew I'd have to do it... Whut? You expected me to be serious? Well, in that case... I totally agree ... there is no such thing as a stocker trout turned wild... unless she flashes her pectorals at me...
  2. Chance... Rip Collins caught the 41-4 trout on a 4 lb ultralight...
  3. Phil, Is that with the flip? Is it a Pure? Not bad video and sound...
  4. Wade up hell... I want a bikini clad Victoria's Secret model to deliver my drink to me...
  5. Could have been a lot worse than it was... I'm thinking there was a key safety feature bypassed? Maybe a good reminder that it can be a pretty important one...
  6. Me too... I mean I wish YOU had missed it...
  7. Is that when you are considered "older than dirt?" Happy Birthday!!! Just remember... 60 is the new 50!!!!
  8. Wow, OTF... I bet you're glad you didn't quit... Just look at what you would have missed...
  9. Yep... when you hear the loud boom box, that's Michael. If it's not very loud, it's me...
  10. I, like most folks, have problems with spelling. Here's a good resource to help with that.... http://dictionary.reference.com/ I can't say I'm "happy" to see someone lose a boat like that just as I would not be happy to see someone lose an old beat up jon boat or canoe. I interviewed with a company in Camdenton a few years back and had not been to Lake of the Ozarks in years. What I saw made me glad I didn't get that job. The lake is nothing more than a playground for those with more money than... well... I'll stop there. And from what I saw, it's a wonder there are not more accidents of this type. But, if that's what they want, then more power to them. That's why I'll stick to fishing small moving water...
  11. Wait.... wait... wait.... What is this "YOU guys are weird" stuff.... OK, Dano and Ronnie... when you point at me and FC, there are four fingers pointing back at you... Welcome to the club....
  12. How did we get from someone quitting the forum to FC and me being weird?
  13. When Cindy and I were dating, the same thing happened and I ran over the male "killer yorkie...' He suffered similar injuries, but luckily, not as bad as you describe. Today, he is very much MY LITTLE BOY and stays by my side 90% of the time. The little critters do grow on ya...
  14. You're singing in the WRONG KEY!!!!! Here... Let me lead... Kuuuum-ba-ya, my Lord.... Kuuuum-ba-ya.... EV'rybody now....
  15. Typical response from some moronic Republicrat who doesn't know any better... (or is that Demoblican?)
  16. I, too, am guilty of bringing up controversy and may have done so moments ago. However, I have learned that the better course of action is to type out the posting, walk away for a bit, then come back and read it again. I NEVER mean to offend anyone, but will defend my position if I feel the need to do so. My antics are most often directed at those I feel close enough to do so and to bring a light hearted bit of humor in most cases. However, when it comes to political or religious matters, I very often will avoid posting like the plague. Many times I may read the first post or two then never revisit it again. An very wise old man told me many years ago "Opinions are like ***holes - Everyone has one, some ARE one...." I'm sure there are those that consider me to BE one and that's fine. I've also found over the years that first impressions are not always correct. I've met folks that I thought were very offensive and real jerks that later turned out to be close friends. I've also met many who I felt were very sincere and honest, then later turned out to be back-stabbers. It's just the way things are in the human race. I'm glad to see that you will refuse to leave this forum based on a few that seem to stir up controversy on a regular basis. Some of these people just have the personality that they feel they have to stand on their soapbox and tell others what is right and what is wrong. Doesn't mean they are right, and doesn't mean they are wrong. They are just expressive. I do not appreciate when someone is expressive to the point of offensive and will likely tell them so. But I will not let that influence me into quitting the forum that is made up by the majority of folks high above that mark. Now... With guitar in hand... I'll strike a G chord and we can begin the "Kumbaya..."
  17. I would add my signature to the above post by troutgnat... Here here!!! Someone doesn't like the rules... Wait... there ARE no rules...
  18. Along with a lot of "loose nut between the chair and the keyboard" errors... Where do you work, Sam?
  19. Here's my entry.... Caught today and released... Length 78 13/16" Girth 44 1/8" OH... Almost forgot... I caught this one as well... That's Flysmallie in the background... He'll vouch for me... Great idea having a tournament like this.... I hope this will prove to a lot of folks that fishermen can work on the HONOR SYSTEM and not screw it up...
  20. RPS, For the firebox, how about using an old wood stove like a pot belly or box stove... There are plans out there that might give you some ideas... Google or Bing "Smoker pit plans"
  21. I LOVE my Chotas, but I have to say, Gavin, that the NEW Simms boots are much better and at least equal to Simms. Honestly, you'll have to do some arm twisting to get me out of Chotas unless they're Simms. Any other brand, you can keep. As far as waders, Anyone have Cloudveil? I have some Orvis that I happened onto a few years back - right place, right time, right price - and have been mostly pleased with them, but my next ones will be either Simms or Cloudveil...
  22. Sell it to MDC? Make it Terry's private fishing spot? I'd like to hope it would be used for a park and access point. Maybe folks can petition for something like that. I'd sign it...
  23. October 1-3 in Mountain Home, AR CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS
  24. First question... Are we talking CRT or flatscreen/plasma? If it is a CRT, then it could be the tube is going out if none of the settings have been changed. Thom and Jason's suggestions are good, but there are several other things to look at if it's not these. Geek Squad is pretty good, but have a teenage neighbor look at it first and save some money... LOL
  25. I'm sure you know this, but just be sure that the part with the fire in it is lined with fire brick of some kind. Using just any old rocks could be a formula for disaster...
