Lone Angler

Used to be mostly a heavy tackle bass fisherman until I got my first fly rod when I was 18, and took a trip to Estes Park, CO. I immediately fell in love with everything about fly fishing. On the way back from the Colorado trip we stopped at the Blair Bridge access on the North Fork of the White, and I couldn't believe that the river looked just like the ones I had been fishing out west. I still like to bass fish from time to time, but there is something about hooking into a stout NFOW rainbow or brown on 5X tippet.
