Where do you find the pictures like this. I am interested in learning more about the area before it became a lake. Were there in any Indian tribes in the area years ago?

Why would the monte ne area be so much warmer? If I recall, it was the same way prior to our last storm which brought in about 24 inches of water into the lake. Can someone explain?

The lake is up 2 ft. I bet water temp is around 40

Does anyone have experience with a trolling plate? How well do they work? Is it a pain? Is it worth the cost?

Skunked again. I fished from noon to about 3. Not one hit. Found very little bait in PC. Found a large amount of bait in deep water at beaver shores. I am sick of getting skunked. This lake has not been kind to me. Tried slabs, horseheads, crankbait and even the flicker shad. No luck.........

Wow that is indeed some nice crappie.and the flicker shad is a powerful bait in this lake, isn't it?

How big are the crappie in beaver? I can remember catching 3 lb crappie in Texas years ago with my dad. He called them barn door crappie. Where is the best place to catch crappie in beaver? Are you using minnows?

J-Doc when are you going fishing again? The flicker shad will run 10-13 feet deep, right?

I believe you. At times the bait was so thick it would blackout my screen. I tried slabs. Horse head and even trolled so crank baits but not even a hit. It is probably the heaviest bait I have seen on beaver.

I could not believe the amount of bait across from beaver shores. I was very surprised whe I could not even hook up on white bass

Found bait today at beaver shores. Tried trolling without any luck. The lowest speed that I can troll is 3 mph. Is this to fast?

Seen many bass boats coming into PC between 4 and 5. Was there a tourney? Water temp in PC area was 44.

Went today. A lot of bait stacked in front of PC in 40 - 60 fow. Used slabs and horse heads but could not get a bite.
