I saw truck and trailer at 12 bridge but I don't know if they were fishing or hunting

I know that there are a couple of boats out and about.

Beautiful day on the lake. A considerable amount of bait between the mouth of coose and the island. Most of it was in deep water suspended at 30-40 fow. Small amounts of bait at the mouth of PC and avoca. Did see a couple of terns in pc

When you mention birds are you talking about gulls? I have not seen any gulls the last two days. I almost approached the duck hunter thinking it was you but I didn't. I am reluctant to move in on anyone fishing. I am glad I didn't. I enjoy reading about your fishing trips. Maybe one day I will be able to greet you

It was a cold morning. Not much bait bunched up around the island today or in Larue. I was thinking that we had good groups of bait balls this time last year.

F&F - was that you duck hunting in Larue this morning?

Fished ventris, coose, PC, behind islands, and beaver shores. Found very little bait. The large collection of bait was at the mouth of coose. Water temp was 52 As any got a better report ?

Guys Can anyone provide some tips on locating white bass and striper. I hope to be able to fish this weekend Thank for your suggestions

I just wanted to say hello to the great guys on this forum. I have been Fins and Feathers, Stumper Bumper, Jeb and the rest of you guys blogs for the past 2 years. You guys have really helped me learn about beaver lake. I have been an avid fisherman for several years now but really struggle on this lake. I enjoy taking my grandson and granddaughter out on the lake to fish for white bass and striper. I would really like to see them get into a mess of fish and get hooked for ever. Anyway, today was not a good day for catching. I did get to see the geese fly over PC this morning. Some bait was between the bouy in PC but not much bait back in the coves. I cant seem to find the bait like last year and I do not understand. Why do you guys think that the bait has not bunched up like last year? Has it not gotten cold enough or is it because the lake is so low? Any suggestions?

Fins and Feathers: I know you have found the white bass and stripers. Where are they at?

What types of fishing are you after? I have been fishing Beaver for 2 years now. My preference is striper and sand bass. I have not done well. It has been a humbling experience. Greg

It appears that the lake is turning over. Does the fishing slow down during that period? How long will it take before it is not effecting fishing?
