  1. Bill, She weighed 7.85 and she was just a butterball. I would have swore that she would weigh 8 or 9 pounds when we got her in the boat. I caught a 7.34 last year on Table Rock and this fish made it look small. This lake is really producing quite a few 7 and 8 pounders in recent tournaments and I really think it is only going to get better. Good luck out and thanks for all the Information you put on here.
  2. Bill that was a nice bag of fish. We finished 4th and had the big bass of the day. We didnt catch near as many as you all did but stumbled onto a good spot and a big one that produced a respectable bag. We had 8 keepers all day and about 5 short fish. We caught em on the stickbait and the bite really died for us after about 10:30. Threw the grub later in the day but had no success. The lake is really fixing to blow open and I am amazed at how many 7 plus lb fish have been weighed in between anglers in action and central pro-am.
  3. I had the exact same thing happen to me when I was fishing out of the back of the boat during a Central Proam tourney on Table Rock during August. The pro that I drew was flipping docks all day and when we got to a large community dock in the Kimberling City area we had a guy come out and get all over us for fishing his dock. He got biligerant and started cussing and said he was calling the lake patrol. We said go ahead because we didn't think we were in the wrong. My story got funny because as we were leaving the man's little fluffy dog decided to join us in our boat. I guess the dog didnt like the guy either!!!
  4. I would bet that you have a pretty good day. Saturday was awesome we caught several good keeper LM and several more keeper K's. I actually don't know how many K's we ended up catching that day. We stayed around the Mid-lake area and fished the bushes. On Sunday it was a little slower, we were on the same bite but could not get the good LM's like we got the day before. We did catch probably another 25 keeper K's. WE pulled up on one boat dock that had some surface activity and we caught 21 K's off that one spot probably half of them were keepers 13 to 14 inchers. So I would bet with the clouds this a.m. you will gert bit pretty good!!
  5. Thanks for the update. YOu may be right about the different stages. I fished Hickory Creek yesterday evening for about 4 hours and I didn't see any bedding fish. I did catch alot of short fish up in the bushes though. It is getting close all over the lake. Maybe I will see you out this weekend. I am in a white skeeter with a 250 HPDI on it. Stop by and say high if you see me.
  6. Great report JEB!!! It is amazing how fast these fish can change. I fished Mid Lake Last weekend and they were killing the stick bait. What area of the lake were you in, when you found all the shallow fish. I was thinking about running down lake to the dam, but could easily stay around mid lake if the good fish are still there.
  7. Where did you put in at and how far from the mill did you get? Also if you don't mind what where they biting?
