  1. I am more of a reader than a typer.
  2. Sold thru Craigslist Thanks for looking.
  3. I am pretty sure that the season for all black bass in rivers is closed. See Link
  4. This item is sold. I am the proud new owner. I can't wait to get it on the water.
  5. Greetings, There are a couple of lakes in Franklin County where you could use your float tube. The first that I can think of is Catawissa Conservation Area I have only fished the main lake that connects to the Meramec River. But I Believe that there are other lakes and ponds that you can hike to. Another one is Port Hudson Lake I have fished Port Hudson in my Float Tube (Belly boat) a couple of years ago. If you are squeamish about touching hidden things under the water this is not a great place to be. The lake is filled with lots of flooded timber and logs that lie just under the surface. Its a big lake (55 ac) so the wind can be a major pain in the butt. (or legs actually) I also have used my Belly Boat to take a few short floats (3 miles or less) in local rivers Which Belly boat did you get? I have this one and I love it. Day Tripper Good luck to you. And if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
  6. Greetings, Welcome aboard. I am also a kayak fisherman from the St Louis Area. I have been wanting to float the big piney for several years now but never seem to be able to arrange a trip. I have a hard time passing over good rivers that are closer to home.
  7. Hello to all, I followed some of my Riversmallie bretheren to this site. I am happy to be here. I already know some of the guys on this board from Riversmallies. I am excited to find a board that is more specific to the waters that I fish. I do most of my fishing on the Bourbeuse river which is a tributary of the Meramec. I am looking to branch out this year, and fish some other Missouri streams.
