  1. Thank you very much.
  2. Was informed today the ramp at linn creek is unusable. Does anyone know about the Larry Gale Access ramp? Im driving from Marshfield, Mo, so my last option will probably be the ramp at Red Oak Resort.
  3. "Man up" to me is talking to the people myself and making sure they know what they are doing is wrong. Then if they don't wet their pants, don't do things the right way, or are just too plain stupid and stubborn to believe in doing the right things. THEN i turn them in, or at worst sink their boat for being idiots.
  4. Had that same guy check me and my girlfriend at CC a few months ago. He was in a triton fish and ski and had the conso badge on his hat. Nice dude. Just glanced in my boat didnt look in the live wells coolers or anything just asked for fishing permits and went on his marry way.
  5. theres serious mud at maze creek. when i was younger me and a buddy took a bronco back down the trails away from the highway. got it stuck in mud that had no bottom. destroyed the truck anyway when we hit a creek bed and battery acid got all over the block. he left the truck back there. a couple of years ago i was able to get back in there again when it was dry. somebody with a monster truck got down to the bronco and cut the subframe out of it and axles. and then lit it on fire. pretty sure its still there. man we were some dumb 16 year olds. i can tell you one thing. if you have monster truck, and want to catch as many white bass as you want. they get stuck in pools back there. hundreds of them. then the pools dry up and all the fish die. but like i said, theres nothing less than i truck with 44inch tires getting back there
  6. caught plenty of fish on dead minnows, but never tried tearing one in half. im fishing lake of the ozarks tommorow for my first time. might have to tear some minnows in half if i get close to running out
  7. whens theres not really nice people giving me free minnows when i show up at cc in the evening i get my minnows at the trading post in greenfield. i have had several dozens of minnows from everton and ashgrove both and they wont even make it to the lake. greenfield minnows catch fish i promise.
  8. i fished at cc last night also(wednesday evening). i went about a mile and a half from cc i think. maybe two miles darn near to roark anyway. pulled into a big cove with lots of timber that i had never fished before. alot of fish but very very few keepers. i think the rest of the summer i will put in at roark instead of cc.
  9. rubicon, you can tell if a bass is gay or not when you go to take the hook out of its mouth. when you remove the hook if it tries to suck on your finger, its a gay bass. do not bash the gay bass on the side of your boat. gay bass bashing is illegal and somebody might turn you in
  10. gay bass and lame crappie. whats next? jobless perch? whore catfish?
  11. when my girl is with me a put in at roark. pay the three dollars. not a busy ramp. three lanes on the ramp. boat dock in the center of the ramp helps out alot especially if your by yourself or with a woman{same thing}. plus if you want to fish cc you can just drive around the corner about a mile i suppose. cc i just way to busy this time of year and theres alot of people down there that take 30 minutes to get their trailer backed to the water. just my two cents
  12. wow me and my friends messed up and went the wrong way and went under the bridge. i managed only 7 keepers and no walleye.
  13. had a great day on the lake today. no problems with the boat at all. CC was very busy again today. me and my girlfriend caught 6 keeper crappie in the very back of a cove near the bank using minnows. could have done alot better if i would have brought more minnows. didnt have many shorts today and managed to catch two nice large mouth but i released them. i plan on going back down there very soon.
  14. i was wondering the same thing. we literally seen hundreds of large fish jumping out of the water yesterday evening. tried some top water and that didnt work
  15. my boat needs all new fuel lines. left it at the house today and took my buddy and his camo flat bottom. put in at cc around 5. starting catching fish around 7pm. between the two of us we caught 12 keeper crappie one nice white bass. all caught on white or white&blue bomber crankbaits. nothing on a jig or anything else we tried. didnt have many shorts today amazingly. caught all the crappie on a point in 15 foot of water. they were still biting when we left at 9:30pm. probably should have brought minnows but still had a fun time. if i can get my baja ready tomorow im liable to fish all week long
  16. thats horrible. i fish cc all the time and i figured people would have been a little more helpful for you. better take it easy on that heart. i hope you get better so you can keep fishing there and get into some of those crappie. im a 6'6 300 pound red headed dude with a black/dark red 21 foot baja fish and ski with a 200 evinrude. i have first responder experience and my girlfriend is a registered nurse. if you ever have problems like that again down there and you see me by the bridge try to get my attention and i will gladly carry you to your truck with or without other peoples help
  17. put it at about 11am at cc today(thursday). very very busy ramp today. alot of boats and people fishing from the bank as well. messed up big time forgot to stop and get minnows. caught a few largemouth on a spinnerbait but had a pretty slow day. anyone do really good on some crappie?
  18. thats funny. the first boat i ever bought had a saw mark in the hull where the boat sit on the trailer runners. I didnt sink it when i put it in the water the first time but it would have if i hadnt got it back on the trailer in another 15 minutes.
  19. hey binman what kind of champ you got for sale? i just sold my first boat a quantum and now im looking for a fish and ski or bass model. under 6k. let me know if anyone knows where a good buy is
  20. Hello my name is Rick Baker. I am from Bois D' Arc, Missouri ( west of springfield). I live in Marshfield. I fish at table rock, truman, pomme, stockton, and roaring river. Im 24 and just got my first bass boat. Its a 89 Quantum and its for sale on craigs because im 6'6 and need a bigger boat. Not trying to sell it very hard so you might catch me putting it in the water at Roark Bluff or CC Greenfield. I love fishing stockton and have been for all my life. I love this site already for the fishing reports and thank you to everyone that posts them. Later
