what size would you guess the one in your palm to be? I've never heard of the way you tied the one with stretch tubing over the hook and then ribbed, but it does sound like a very effective method, thanks for sharing.

I too had never heard of this tactic until this thread. My $.02 on it, it's kind of comical to read all the theories on this. I'd put it up there with kissing your sister, it may not be illeagal, and that doesn't make it right, but if someone sees you, you could be in for a good ribbing.

I agree with OnTheFly, I'm also in OK and all I have seen are rediculous billboards and traffic congestion around the casino's. There hasn't been any talk of civic improvements resulting from these "entertainment locations".

Thanks everyone, I now have a 9' 4wt. Sage to go with my 8.5 5wt and 9ft 8wt TFO's. And as luck would have it, I am heading off to the Carson National Forest in New Mexico tomorrow to break it in. The trip is one that was planned earlier but cancelled due to restrictions in forest due to lack of rain. WooHoo!!!

Question - As an out of stater, I have always purchased a non resident license, however I was told by the person at WallyWorld that I didn't need a trout stamp even after I told him that I would only be fishing for trout and asked him if he was sure about this, is this true or untrue? I have not been able to find anything that contradicts what I was told. I know in Oklahoma, a non resident must purchase a trout stamp in addition to a license.
