  1. I'll be down there April 21st & 22nd also, assuming water cooperates
  2. I am selling my Fishpond Blue River pack. It is khaki and green. Has lots of life left in it. I bought it in 2010 and it has probably seen about 55 days on the water. Slightly faded from use, but not much. $35 to your door. Shoot me a pm and i would be happy to email you a pic.
  3. Thanks for the report! Looks like good livin.
  4. Okie covered it. I would bring along some midge pupae patterns size 16 or 18 is always good before summer.
  5. Speaking of obnoxious drunks Mueller and I will be down Friday. Mueller has a flask of 90 proof to keep him company when we are pulling streamers and I will have a case of STAG.
  6. I'm familiar with the lot. Right across from upper ROLF. Has a "Motivated Seller" sign on it now. No worries, give the guy a break, he's not building condos or a golf course. There are approximately 8 cabins within 200 yds of the river from Kelly to Myrans. Selling a lot for a cabin isn't going to hurt. Plus this lot sits way back off the bank compared to others. Plenty of room for a septic and associated drain field. Justin's right about old septics being the issue. Look at the Lake of the Ozarks. All the turds that roll down the hill into the lake come from old systems where older cabins are the norm. Not the new ones in more developed parts. Plus the density is not at the NFOW to cause issues. I love that river as much as anyone and would defend it to the end if I thought this was a threat. It's not.
  7. Midge Pupae Brown with copper wire, copper bead Size 18 Elk Hair Caddis Size 16-18 X Caddis is nice to have also, 16-20 Prince Nymph in 16 Shop Vac Nymph Size 14 Hares Ear 14-16 Beetle Dry 14-16 Mohair Leech Hopper 10 Trico or something comparable if you are in to that San Juan worm Smaller Bugger Good luck and have fun
  8. That float in the dark sounded real cool Gavin
  9. Funny how the big ones are often in the frog water!
  10. Good work again Wise. I know why you and Justin live down there! Unfortunately my wife doesn't know why though. Is that Dr. Marty from Jeff City at the beginning of the video with the big brown?
  11. I'm not sure what is better, the big browns or the Yeti boat seat! Great pics Tucker!
  12. Plan on getting a canoe, Justin at Sunburst Ranch is a good place for this. You'll be disappointed if you just try to wade. Better to use a canoe and riffle hop and wade from there. Nymphing is a good way to go for numbers. Bring some Pats Rubberlegs size 4-6, heavier, some red fox squirrels, size 8 -12, Caddis work well on the double nymph rigs as droppers, as well as Pheasant tails, Bloody Marys. 9 ft. 3x to the point fly and 4x to the dropper. Should be good with the warmer weather and good flows. Also, bring some larger indicators for these heavier rigs such as Thingamabobbers. If you fish the Arkansas Tailwaters quite a bit this is different. Good luck!
  13. Interesting.
  14. Kind of Trippy.
  15. Nice! We'll be down there next Friday for a day, then heading down to Ark. after that for a couple of days. Hopefully with some more rain tomorrow we'll have a bit more water then you guys. 700cfs+ would be awesome, probably going to be less then that though.
  16. I was planning on coming down but my wife informed me that there is a girls weekend this weekend. Watching the boys at home I suppose. Catch a bunch, have fun bud.
  17. Boats are made for grinding Gavin! Justin, Glad you caught the sucker in the mouth. I was wondering about that.
  18. Always well done bud!
  19. ROLF is a nice place but can get expensive. If you want to do it on the cheap and have a great experience check out Sunburst Ranch. Justin there will set you up with the bugs you want. Nymphing is the main staple for numbers on this river. Medium to Large Thingamabobber, 3X to the point fly and 4X to the dropper. Flourocarbon especially when water is low and clear as it is now. Pats Rubberlegs in Size 4 to 8 with a caddis pupa dropper, pheasant tail, bloody mary, possibly a red fox squirrel. North Fork is best fished from a boat but is also nice out of a canoe. A canoe will work fine to get from riffle to riffle in the lower water that you are looking at. Don't go down there and think you are going to wade around without the help of some kind of watercraft, you'll be disappointed. PM me if you want more details I fish there as often as I can. Hope this helps. I love the NFOW!
  20. Great Job bud! That is an awesome fish anywhere, especially on the North Fork of the White. Probably the fish of a lifetime for your client.
  21. Sean, Great Fish! Funny how the big ones seem to eat a lot when the water is up. We need to get down there together sometime. We can take turns rowing.
