Rush to the white river is 26 miles. I dont know how far it is from buffalo point to Rush so maybe someone else can help out. Rush is the last put in place that is easily accessible. The only places to camp are on sand bars, however the sand bars will keep you high and dry unless something seriously bad happens. Hopefully we will get some rain between now and then or you will be in for ALOT of paddling. As far as shuttling services, there is a canoe rental place across the road from the Rush turnoff and last year I believe they said it was $60 for a shuttle to shipps ferry. If the white is low enough and you paddle hard you can go across to the island at the mouth and then over to Riley's station, they will tow you up river or give you a ride to get your truck for a fee.
