focused fishing Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 David, The fish should be in a post spawn by the first w/e in May (with this weather who knows for sure). Look for most of the fish to be realting to points and drops near spawning areas, split shot rigs, spider jigs and shaky heads would be the top three presentations. Also, have a top water handy first thing in the morning, spook or red fin, watch for shad being busted and work the either lure in and around the bait. Red fin is a great big fish post spawn bait on Table Rock, should be prime time. Hope this helps, EP Eric Prey Focused Fishing Guide Service http://focusedfishing.com Pro Staff For: Jewel Bait Company, Bass Pro Shops, Chompers, Branson.com, Branson Fishing TV, Tightlines UV, K.A.S.T.,

Don Don, What is your typical grub setup? Type of bait? Texas Rig? Line? Thanks
Fishing Buddy Don House Posted March 9, 2008 Fishing Buddy Posted March 9, 2008 coman, pretty simple I use a 1/8 to 3/8 ounce dart grub head with 4" Zoom fat Albert single tail grub in green pumpkin.. Slow roll it allowing it to bounce off the bottom that is a must. Feel for the bait to load up on the rod. sometimes it feels like a rock until it starts to swim away.. Good Fishing Capt. Don Capt.
