Jason Essary Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 But in at McCord Bend at 8. went all the way up to talor shoal. looking for white bass, none found. fished all the way back, no whites, no crappies, 4 small largemouths. water temps at 47.5 to 47.2. as for spoonbill. say many splashes first thing. from McCord to the riffle below Blunks. None past that that i say. graphed a few at McCord. Seth Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 So the spoonbill are up that far then....that's good to hear. I'm surprised they were flopping on top with the water being below 55. Those water temps are still alot better than what I expected them to be and it's supposed to be mild this week so maybe they will get in to the 50's so that should help out the spoonbill opener next weekend.
