I have heard of some places no more than 20 miles out but they weren't from very reliable sources. Would love to find some skinny water whites somewhere close. If anyone knows and needs someone to carry the stringer let me know also, I just moved to Springfield for college and need to find some fishin partners. retroaction man Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 i would suggest downloading google earth. i use it all the time to find fishing spots. once you get it up and running find northwest arkansas and 540 beaverlake / white river is all east of 540 your best bet would be hitting up 412 east and finding the roads that get you to where you want to be. Also i live in rogers and do a lot of flyfishing below beaver and i spin cast and flyfish above and on beaver. if you have any questions or need some company get a hold of me i just realized you said springfield and not springdale ... nevermind me :loco
