Remount Of An Old Fish Mount.

Here is the pic. I promised last year of a fish I caught in Spain and mounted while in Europe. When overseas I did not have access to good materials and the mount was not what I wanted it to look like.

Last year I decided to try to soak it and remount the fish with a better carved body here is the finished fish.

That is very nice. I have a couple of old ones which are flaking off. Do you do repair work?

Yes, we do repaints and restorations on old mounts.

I have one that needs some work. When i get a chance to head down that way, I'll try to run it by.

I am curious what lake in Spain? Is it anywhere close to Madrid?

It was a MWR trip, close to Zaragoza.. Some American Military guys had flown the bass over and did the intital stocking. of Flordia Strain.
