twosets Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 On a scale of 1 to 10, with 4 units of generation being a 5, just how fast is the current at the dam. How heavy of a jig would you use if you were throwing one with a spinning rod, and would it be ok to use 6 or 8 lb test as opposed to the usual 2 or 4 lb Just curious George "This is not Nam. This is bowling. There are rules."
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 21, 2008 Root Admin Posted March 21, 2008 8 4 lb line I can get an 1/8th down pretty well.

My buddy (hoover25) caught some last night with1/16th oz jig and on stick baits (on 20 lb power pro and a 6 lb flouro leader) at the dam. Nothing awesome, but at least they were hitting.
