Members That_Guy Posted March 25, 2008 Members Posted March 25, 2008 We fished above Taylor Bridge on Saturday and still managed to catch a few limits. The water looked like chocolate milk but didn't seem to make a difference. I've seen lots of fly fisherman catch the whites on a fly rod in years past, so I decided to put down the spinning gear and try it myself. What a blast! I caught about 10 in the amount of time it took the guys with me to catch 3 each. Once again color didn't matter as much as presentation of the bait. Meat Without Feet
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 25, 2008 Root Admin Posted March 25, 2008 There you go.... Thanks!
Whodat Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 How far above Taylor are you going? Gonna try to get down tomorrow since I am on medical leave for the nexted 3 weeks.
Members Muleball39 Posted March 25, 2008 Members Posted March 25, 2008 How do you get to Taylor Bridge, just wanting to wet my fly line until the trout fishing resumes.
Members That_Guy Posted March 26, 2008 Author Members Posted March 26, 2008 Coming from Morrisville on 215, you cross two one lane bridges and then take a right on S60, when that comes to a T, take a right and you go right over the bridge. If your going to be fishing from the bank I would walk that bike trail to the river (sorry to the fly fisherman I swamped there last night), or fish a couple hundred yards below the 215 bridge. Oh, they wanted a very slow retrieve last night. Meat Without Feet
