Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 18, 2006 Root Admin Posted February 18, 2006 This is one of those trips fisherpeople will talk about for years to come... the ones who came in spite of the forecast. We still have a couple of rooms open if anyone wants to join us! We've had about 7 inches so far- 13 degrees and dropping. Seriously, fishing should be excellent today. Members whatnext Posted February 18, 2006 Members Posted February 18, 2006 Dang in kansas we hardly got a dusting. Does it really make for better fishing?
Micheal Kyle Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Some of my best fishing down at Taneycomo has been during the snow. I would be down there but somebody has to run the store. To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
Danoinark Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 A layer of ice, then about 5 inches of snow, with new snow still falling at 0936 hrs in Harrison. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
CaptainT16 Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Dano go to the airport in Harrison and get my airline flight out. I am in charge of that flight and I just finally had to cancel the flight! I see you guys got quite a bit of snow down that way. I wish I could be fishing right now! Best times on Taney have been during a snowstorm. Bring some of that snow to KS, we need it! CaptainT16 Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Yeah, I am an Airline Dispatcher for Mesa here in Wichita. Think I might just have to make a layover happen sometime soon and take you up on the offer. Been a couple of months since I have been down there, so it's about time to make another trip!
