Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 28, 2008 Root Admin Posted March 28, 2008 Just wanted to let all you forum people know we posted our lastest video on the front page of ozarkanglers. Had to edit it down quite a bit to fit on google.
Terry Beeson Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Which one of you guys is Crowbar? Good video... I gotta get out and go after some of them Whities... TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
Tightline Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I believe your guys next venue will be the (Fishing with Bill and Phil show) or should it be (Fishing with Phil and Bill show).Great video, but Phil I would demand equal time on camera. You know we haven't had a good local fishing show in years.Something to think about!!
Trav Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Nice size whites. The ones I have been chasing here on the Lower T are about 2/3rds of the size of those. Please, no jokes about how size doesnt matter. Haha "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 29, 2008 Author Root Admin Posted March 29, 2008 You know we haven't had a good local fishing show in years.Something to think about!! Jim Turner said he's ready to go out with us with 2 cameras and mics us and everything... I told him if we did that it would raise the bar way too much! Right now I want to keep it simple. I do like the idea getting the video up in good time after it's done, esp if it shows where the fish are biting and how. If I can get this editing and rendering down it'll be up the same day!!
twosets Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 To really sell the show, I think that you need to put Bill in a sexy outfit. Keep posting those videos anyway. "This is not Nam. This is bowling. There are rules."

crappiefisherman Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Phil, do you think a person could still launch below the beaver creek bridge as of sat am?I would drive over and investigate but seems with higher prices for gas and grocerys my lovely wife tends to frown on driving around.I have also caught whites up in the flooded areas before and had a great time, would love to do this again .I imagine this weekends rain will dampen the fishing up there a bit.Is the water where you can see the fish and they see you , or is it still a little stained? of course these questions prolly went out the window during last nights rain.Have a glorious day .John [ [
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 29, 2008 Author Root Admin Posted March 29, 2008 Couldn't see the fish- perfect for us though. A friend said the road along the highway is getting alittle tough to put a boat in off of now- not much grade. A small, light boat I'd say but not a bass boat. The rain should do much to the whites but the cold may knock them back a day or two. Tomorrow is supposed to be 70 and rain and if that happens it may jump start the spawn for a day or two- then who knows.
