rainbow Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Phil, is the lake cam on the OA site not working? I can get it to go on.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 31, 2008 Root Admin Posted March 31, 2008 It's working for me. I did reboot the program. Have to view it in Internet Explorer.
rainbow Posted March 31, 2008 Author Posted March 31, 2008 I am using explorer and all it says is "opening media" on the screen. It worked a couple weeks ago for me but not now. I refreshed the setting twice to see if that would help but it didn't.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 31, 2008 Root Admin Posted March 31, 2008 Web? Any ideas? When I tried it the first time, I had to hit the play button because it said it stopped. It's worked for me since.
WebFreeman Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I used to NEVER be able to see it. Since you put it back up, now it takes 1 or 2 tries for me. It's working right now pointed upstream. I think a lot has to do w/ your network settings. You could try quitting your browser and trying again. Or hitting the play button again, which is what I have to do. Rainbow, has anything changed w/ your network or connection? “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
rainbow Posted March 31, 2008 Author Posted March 31, 2008 Web, everything is the same. It used to come on real fast. Now it says ready and I hit the play button. Then it says opening media and nothing happens. Headed that way later this week and wanted to get a look at the water condition. Maybe someone could post a clean link to it and it would work. that's what the help thing on my computer said to do.
Thom Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I just tried it (1:40 PM Monday) and it worked OK. Thom Harvengt
rainbow Posted March 31, 2008 Author Posted March 31, 2008 Just tried and it will not play. Being computer challenged I'm out of ideas.
rainbow Posted March 31, 2008 Author Posted March 31, 2008 Just tried with my broadband card and it worked. Found out we have a new filter or something at work that blocks web cams.
Rolan Duffield Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 It's working OK though the direction of the camera has changed. Would prefer seeing any area that would show the apparent water level. Rolan
