MOBass Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 With Table Rock moving up past 931 are there any ramps that are still useable or should I take a pass and do honeydos this weekend? The cold front doesn't have me too excitied either.
Fishing Buddy Don House Posted April 11, 2008 Fishing Buddy Posted April 11, 2008 Well as you can see by me posting on just about every part of this site, I'm bored and the only ramps I think you can get out on will be State Park, Mill Creek and maybe still Indian Point, but not sure on that one.. Also you might try Kimberling Inn but it will be full with Heartland Guys.. I know I have lost a few trips this weekend, so it looks like honey-do's for me.. Go give it a try I might on Sunday.. MOBass Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 There'll be a lot better days so I'll hit the honey dos and bank a kitchen pass for next weekend. I was down at Silver Dollar City last weekend and drove down to Indian Point and it was dicey. Hopefully conditions improve and those that make their living on the water can get back to it.
SKMO Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 On the west end you can launch at Eagle Rock, Big M, Shell Knob and H Highway south of SK (Big Indian/Baxter). You will be launching off parking lots or roadbeds but I know all these places are usable as I looked at them today. Shell Knob had a bit of a logjam problem but it comes and goes depending on the winds and there were at least 3 full sized rigs launched from there today. techo Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Are the Heartland anglers still going? I know it was moved from Bull Shoals to Table rock, but how are they going to get everyone out? Tim Carpenter
Fishrman Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 I heard from my brother in law today the Heartland was cancelled. I launched at H hwy. today and this morning when I turned at the curve to go to the parking lot the water was not over the road, but when I left at 2:00 it was coming up and was over the road, but not deep.
Tom Spence Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Believe it or not, the Heartland tourneys are still going out of Ahoys this weekend. Alot of us fishing it think its a mistake and wish they would have canceled it for safety reasons. Tom Spence Champion Boats http://championboats.com Luck E Strike USA http://martyconradfishing.com
Fishrman Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Sorry about the misinformatin guys. My information came from Bill's Marine in Monett.
S&M Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 The boat ramps and courtesy docks are easy to find if you have sonar Mill Creek out of Kimberly City is still launching boats. How do I deal with those who ignore the 50 yard encroachment rule?......I show them just how accurate I am with a crank bait!
Members Nick Z Posted April 12, 2008 Members Posted April 12, 2008 We put in at Aunts Creek Public access about 3pm and was able to get on the water. It was WAY too windy out to be out in the main channel. Did not fish. Made it to Kings Cove. Hopefully less windy tomorrow.
