Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 11, 2008 Root Admin Posted April 11, 2008 The Missouri Water Patrol is advising that no one boats on at least the upper lake while this much water is being released. I talked to a patrolman this afternoon and he said they are advising but cannot tell someone not to boat and/or fish. We saw several boaters on the lake while working downtown today but very few. This water is expected to continue till Wednesday next week.
soggyfeet Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 I couldnt imagine anyone that doesnt have to be out on lake right now. At least from your place to the dam. A person would be in all kinds of trouble if they were to run out of gas, dead battery, engine failure and any number of things. Then they put others at risk when something goes wrong. Brian
