The water is at the top of our retainer wall across the front below the pavilion so it's about 3.5 feet over the road. The current is very fast and putting alot of pressure on the dock but it's doing fine. We places 6 extra cables before the water came up and it must be helping. There's alot of docks that are twisted, falling is or broken away from the bank. Dad's dock broke away last night at the cat walk but the cables swung it to the bank and we cabled it further.

People are actually fishing off the wall and catch a few rainbows. One guy is fishing down the old boat ramp.

We've had alot of people cancel but some have not.

Phil,

After coming home to trees down, the roof half gone, windows blown out and water damage from hurricanes twice in 2 months to the day, I remember standing with my wife looking at the work facing us again (8 times in 22 years) and her saying "this to shall pass". I stood there and thought of our friends who came home to nothing after the second one and her and her husband saying "well I guess we start all over again". Sometimes we just have to be thankful we have our loved ones. God be with you.

I looked at the webcam today and thought I saw you and someone else were fishing off the dock ramp... I thought "That dang Phil... He's fishin'..." But then watching more, I realized you were doing some sort of work on the dock... cabling?

God had blessed you so far with this, Phil and there are a lot of us praying He continues to do so. Wanted to come by and check on you this afternoon, but time would not allow...

Phil, our prayers for everyone's safety are going up. Hope this doesn't last too long so you and the family can't get back to normal life. God bless my friend.
