Terry Beeson Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Cindy and I took a trip down to see the dam and Taney. Took a few images with my phone... Are they going to rename Taneycomo "Lake Thassalottawatta?" TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 12, 2008 Root Admin Posted April 12, 2008 Thanks Terry, wish I had time to go to see it.

Members Tangled Bill Posted April 28, 2011 Members Posted April 28, 2011 Wow! Compare that top shot of the pavilion with Leonard's pavilion shot from yesterday. Were Terry's pics taken at the height of the flooding?

mhall02 Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Was anybody catching anything there in the outlet?
Brian K. Shaffer Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Yep. I watched one guy catch 2 gar, a catfish, and a chain pickerel. Saw another guy lose the biggest striped bass I ever did see. It jumped like a tarpon and broke him off. Grey scud too.. size 14 I think. Honest. Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
