Members Steady99 Posted April 12, 2008 Members Posted April 12, 2008 Help. Should I expect that the formatting menu options be available to me when I write?? Can't seem to get them to respond. Tried everything. Thx in advance. Steady...
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 12, 2008 Root Admin Posted April 12, 2008 Sorry- I had read your PM but haven't decided how to handle it. When you say formatting menu, do you mean the icons across the top of the text box? Do they show up? Do they just not work? What browser are you using? If it's firefox, it may be your browser. I've had trouble in the past with ff and I have to either update it or reboot.

I've had trouble in the past with ff and I have to either update it or reboot. I use both FF and IE7. Both very current and system itself is solid. MCSE background so this end should be ok. I display the standard editing window, but the icons are useless to me, both in ie7 and Ffox 2.0.0.13. That really inhibits formatting. I have several machines here so I'll try from a couple others, but basically, they are all outfitted similarly. I tried deleting all cookies etc. Thx your assist. Steady...

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 12, 2008 Root Admin Posted April 12, 2008 I think I see what your problem is... I changed the skin you were using to the Pro or default skin. There is a skin in which the icons aren't working. I need to disable it but not sure if anyone else is using that skin what it would do to their view... Is there anyone not using the default or Pro Skin? Having trouble?

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 12, 2008 Root Admin Posted April 12, 2008 What's at the top of your screen- the Bill and Phil Show banner or google ads?
Members Steady99 Posted April 12, 2008 Author Members Posted April 12, 2008 What's at the top of your screen- the Bill and Phil Show banner or google ads? Seems to be fixed now. Thx your help. I believe that this is the first time I've enjoyed this feature. I was wondering if it was opted out due to bandwidth concerns or other. I've reviewed a lot of forums, and very few reveal any color coding or bolding or other. Lastly, could you send me email re availability lodging in near future. Thx. steady
