You are right about Derek and WP Dan-o - but the best thing about WP is Jimmy Herring! He's probably one of my fav players right now -

J. Herring is unbelievable--I listened to their simulcast from the Chicago Theatre this past saturday night and the songs from the new album (a few of which are more or less his) sounded great. You were right about Dave's On Dickson in Fayetteville.Too bad the place shut down. I saw lots of great shows there, but George's is a great venue also.

Have to agree with Mr. Scheetz, Derek Trucks is a phenom! And still just a kid!!! Been to George's Majestic Lounge in Fayettnam a few times, mostly to see Big Smith (have to plug the local boys!) Great venue, I like the small bar stage up front with the live feed on the tv's of what's going on in the "barn" in the back! Very cool! If you guys check out archive.org you can download some really cool Derek Trucks Band concerts on that site.......among others!!!!
