Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 22, 2006 Root Admin Posted February 22, 2006 Scouting out a new route? Better now be!
Danoinark Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Oh No!!!!!!! Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Members jsharp Posted February 22, 2006 Members Posted February 22, 2006 Does this mean the ducks are coming?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 22, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted February 22, 2006 Are they coming?? If they knew what was good for them they won't. If they knew what was good for them, they wouldn't have gone out today.
Members Scott W Posted February 22, 2006 Members Posted February 22, 2006 I have seen a couple of 'unmarked ducks' on Taney before. Their shop is somewhere to the east. I assume that they use Taney for test runs. Never seen one down as far as you before, but have seen them around downtown area (still can't call it "The Landing").
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 22, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted February 22, 2006 Someone didn't make it to the dam...
Members jsharp Posted February 22, 2006 Members Posted February 22, 2006 You would think if they were going to try getting to the Dam they would learn the the lake first.Or get someone that does. There's rocks in them they're waters captain.
Members SGFChief Posted February 22, 2006 Members Posted February 22, 2006 Oh no Would they be allowed to go up as far as the dam?
Members whatnext Posted February 22, 2006 Members Posted February 22, 2006 I'm not so sure about that how would they do when they crank out some water?
MOBass Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 WARNING! PURE SPECULATION AHEAD! Would it not make sense for the Ducks to offer rides on Taney after touring the downtown / landing area? The downtown / landing area will attract big crowds and will have easier access than their current location on 76. If I were a business man I would love to have that many people coming by my place and potentially stopping in to ride. They could put in and take out at the ramp in the campground, run up or down the lake, and then drive back out. That being said I hope it was just a 'test drive' and will reamin a fluke site.
