WebFreeman Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Cool. I was thinking of getting a pedastal. Seems like it would pretty convienant to just pull it out and be ready. Dan, I remember the pics of yours and wondered about. Whatever happened to JoRob? Here's a close up of how he did the area for the vise. Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Greg Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 That's very nice Terry. Way back in the late 70's my Dad and I made something kind of similar because I kept cluttering (and scarring) up up the kitchen and desk with my vise and supplies. It worked well but was really crude compared to what you've done. Members bill kelley Posted April 25, 2008 Members Posted April 25, 2008 Beautiful. The cedar really makes it. I use a pedestal, but it has a vise that it fits into so I can clamp it to my fly desk or to my office desk if I'm using a pattern on my computer. very nice, Terry
WebFreeman Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Thanks Dan. That's pretty cool. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
jjtroutbum Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Very nice Terry! If I had more time and money. I would like to do a remodel with the natural cedar log furniture look around my place. brittsnbirds Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Terry that Cedar is gorgeous!! I have access to oak scraps from wood working projects here at school from time to time, but no Cedar. Where did you get your Cedar? I think that will be my next project to locate some because it is SO pretty. Plus it can double as a pest repellant!! Good job Terry!! Pat
WebFreeman Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Terry, post some more pix once you get it loaded.
