denjac Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I was curious and googled these formulas. To convert cfs to gallons per second : 28000 cfs x 7.48 =209,440 gallons a second. 209440 x 60 =12,566,400 gallons a minute. 12,566,400 x 60 = gallons per hour, my caculater wont go that high! Thats alot of water. That woulds supply water needs for roughly 1300 homes for a month ever minute. You can do the math for when they really had it cranked up, my head is swimming.
