Members DallasAngler&FamilyGuy Posted May 4, 2008 Members Posted May 4, 2008 Gonna be visiting the Branson area in about a week and would like to run into some crappie, bass, etc at Talbe Rock. My plan is to rent a pontoon boat for about a 1/2 day. I would like to have fun with the fishing and max out my time probably on the North or east side of the lake somwhere. Any suggestions where I can rent a pontoon boat close to some of the good fishing? Not familiar with names of the different arms of the lake so I might need the road names in addition to the arms. Thanks to all that will make this a fun fishing out for myself and the rest of my family.

Lilley, thanks for the info. I will contact & investigate the related marinas for more information. Are the other area lakes just as badly effected by the floods?

I checked out several marinas. They all said they believe they are the only one open. In reality they are all open to varying degrees. One example is that Gages said they would have to take you out on boat to get you to the pontoon boats but they are open for rental.
mclothier1 Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 Another option would be to contact a resort that also rents pontoons. We always stay at a place called Lone Pine resort and they have a couple of pontoons for rent. They are located on DD point (west side) also known as Coney Island. Half days are $125. Give Marty and Carol a shout. here is the link to their website... Lone Pine link to a map of their location... Map of Lone Pine
