bclift65706 Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 flatheads are hard to catch anyway if I fished for flatheads olny I would have alot of bad fishing trips. I may go 3 or 4 times and not catch any and the next time catch 5 very unpredictable fish.dont catch many after July untill late september to november.Does anyone got a good stradigy for hot weather flathead fishing deep, shallow ,flats , river channel ,exd.
Trav Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Nothing else but flatheads in Taney. Heard there were blues but have yet to catch any. I wish they would stock some channels. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
drew03cmc Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Channel catfish are one of the native fish that the trout fishery extirpated from Taney, along with most of the smallmouth and a decent amount of walleye. Go MDC! Andy
