Don Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 I love coon huntin' stories. It reminds me of "Where the Red Fern Grows" with a dash of Lewis Grizzard. Keep them coming. Thanks again....Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
denjac Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Great story, brought back alot of memories. I started out with carbide light too. Remember the leaky seals and flames would shoot out the sides if you didnt get it screwed on just right. Wonder if you can still buy carbide? then came the wheat light and we never went back to carbide. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. flyfshn Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Great story! Up until this past year, I went with my uncle and cousin 10-15 times per year on the weekends! What a blast, walking along the edge of the woods listening to the dogs and stopping every once in a while to look at the millions of stars! Nothing like it! Thanks Terry! Fish On!
