Members Ozark Baby Posted May 13, 2008 Members Posted May 13, 2008 Went fishing at Springfield Lake for a few hours Monday and this is what I caught.
Members brianbarker Posted May 14, 2008 Members Posted May 14, 2008 Thats one huge catfish for Springfield lake. 99% of the ones I've caught or seen caught arn't bigger than your hand. Nice "Your chances of ever catching a record fish increase in direct proportion to your distance from a reliable scale"
loo10 Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Uh...those are not flatheads. I've caught alot of flatheads in the Missouri River and there is a huge noticable difference. The mouth is as wide as the head on a flathead. Flathead is at the bottom. Nice fish either way. Fish Bork Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Who said they were flatheads in the first place... unless the post was edited Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
WebFreeman Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Yeah, something was deleted. Good fish, though. Ozark Baby, can you give us some details? “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
loo10 Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Yeah, something was deleted. Good fish, though. Ozark Baby, can you give us some details? True. Somebody went in "after-the-fact" and deleted their flathead comments. Just so you guys know I haven't lost my mind.....totally...yet. Samkam1 Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Do you keep and eat fish out of Spfd Lake? I have always been wary about it with as nasty as the water is...any ideas on if it is ok or not? SK
zander Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 The fish are fine to eat. CU tests the water more than you can believe.
