Gary Lange Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 What is happening on Pomme this week. I don't see any posts now for a while. What kind of water temp are we looking at now and have the Bass spawned yet or are the just staging like Table Rock. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!

Probably warmed up some. water is high and some fish are in the brush and on pea gravel points. Fished a tourney there on May 3. 10 boats. 5 fish, 9 lbs won it. we got 3rd with 4 fish, 6.1 lbs. jig, spinner bait, a little crank. maybe this helps? Smallmouth Man

Try lipless (shad colors) and chrome/blue divers along the shallow banks at the edge of the bushes. A lot of small ones hitting. There has to be some big ones in there too. Looks like they may be spawning. Water is dingey with all the rain and debris. Couldn't tell if they were bedding or not.

Daddy Carp Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 The Corp is showing a surface temp of 67. Are the bass & crappie in "Post" spawn now or is this falling water going to screw up the spawn? It has fallen about 12-14' since the surface temp was 57&58 in April. Sure hope this dosen't mess things up!

Some buddies and I are looking for any info we can get on fishing conditions for the long weekend comming up. I know the water level has been dropping steadily and might be around 842 or less by the weekend. Has anyone out there been fishing, catching any bass or even crappie. Have not seen many posts lately and any reports would appreciated. Thanks, Knuck
oneshot Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 Ok I don't know how the fishing is on the Lake but it should be good with the way it looks.I did go below the Dam Sunday and the fishing was slow. oneshot
