We were thinking about going up to Big M tomorrow afternoon/evening to try it. Have been fishing the Kimberling area all spring and haven't been up there yet. Has anyone fished that area lately? Has anyone evening/night fished up there lately? Any results, general patterns, general info would be much appreciated. How's it looking (water color, temp and such)? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks Mr. B. I will try the points like I have been fishing in the KC area and go from there. I will report what I find.

Good luck on the water.

whack, fished that area friday evening ,didnot get many bites until 5pm or so but they turned on pretty good until after dark.water temps were around 68.clarity about three feet. hooked some nice smallies in 12 to 20 feet on gravel shakey head [red gulp] go back in coves and look for yards that have been taken over by the lake .after sunset started throwing spinners and hooked up with lots of 2-3lb k's. dont give up on the spinner yet. check this 7lb+ came off shore about 3 feet of water. let that spinner hit as much junk as you dare. Good luck and let us know how your trip goes. BTW. fish is still swimming in beautiful Table Rock lake

that is a beautiful fish! You are right it's times like these that the lake completely changes on where to find the fish, but if you can keep an open mind and be a bit daring (like checking out the flooded yards) the payoff can be great!
