TroutRinger Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Does anyone use those Rubber-Leg jigs they sell at DJ's or on Troutjig.com? If so, have you had any success on them. timsfly Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I used to tie rubber legged jigs for a guy here at R.R., he had a lot of luck with them, he used the black with white rubber legs, so he could see his jig, there are a few others around here that fish and tie their own. We tied them mostly on a 1/32 ounce head, but I know a fe guys tieing them down to 1/100 oz heads and using the micro rubber to make the legs, they look like good baits. I fish them for bluegill and goggleye, but haven't fished them for trout. Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
