These little bugs can be painfully tiny, so what sizes do you all typically use. I've tied down to a 26, but I'm not sure what the usual sizes are. Also, somebody said a chartreuse body works. Is that supposed to be the female? With eggs? Guess I'll have to get up real early to make it down to the Current to fish the pre-dawn Trico rise this summer.

There are two types of people. Those who dream dreams and wish, then there are the do'ers. I am a do'er!

For those little flies, you can pre-tie up a batch with tippet while at home! Then all you have to use it a loop to loop connection on the river! Seen a few of the old "streatcher boxes" around that can be used to keep the tippets in order until you're ready to use them. they do take up space in the vest but make all the difference when the bit it on!

Have fun!

I am not sure if I mentioned this once before... but the Japanese have a contest every year where fly anglers use the smallest hooks they can find (size 40's) to catch the smallest fish they can. Strange, huh

Also - if you have ever seen one of Charlie Readings fly rods, you know he uses size 32's around the base above the cork. Check this out : The Ferrari of Fly Rods

I had never heard of Reading, but sounds like he is a master of the artistic butt wrap and design. Clyde Dent in Little Rock is very proficient with decorative feather inlays..I really like his use of feathers especially jungle cock. Dano
