I fished the river for about 4 hours yesterday, trying 4 different locations, and it was extremely slow. I think we need a few more warm, sunny days to get the fish active again.I managed to catch a dozen or so, all whites and small hybrids, and 2 buffalo. The flow rate is at 1710 this morning so I doubt that I'll go today.

I was thinking about going this A.M., but when I woke up and checked the computer at 4:30 A.M there was a sharp increase in flow and I decided not to go. When I re-checked it about 7:45 A.M it was above 2000 glad I did not drive the 2 1/2 hours to watch water go by. Steve I am guessing that looking at projected generations from Key is about as reliable as Taney projected generations. I am going to plan on going either Saturday or Sunday next week if the water allows it. See ya

jay bird,

I don't even bother looking at SWPA's "projected generation" schedule any more. I have been lied to too many times to trust it. It looks like the water is falling now but I don't know if it will get low enough today or not.
