CaptainT16 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Just curious if anyone has seen any shad this year? I am guessing that the temps were not cold enough this year to have any real big killoffs? Anyone have any guesses? Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 26, 2006 Root Admin Posted February 26, 2006 Very doubtful that we will see any at all. We'd have to get hard generation which is again doubtful... but it's possible.
CaptainT16 Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 Yeah, that is kind of what I figured. I had never fished during that time, but here it's AWESOME! Oh well, I guess maybe next year hopefully. Brian K. Shaffer Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I see the white gulls below the dam.. and that usually means some are showing up.. but without the water.. we aint gonna see that many. Thats not to say white flies arent working.. they are always working! best fishes - Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
