Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 1, 2006 Root Admin Posted March 1, 2006 Just wanted to announce a newly scheduled trout tournament Saturday, April 1 out of Lilleys' Landing Resort & Marina. I've had alot of people ask for another tournament so April 1st the best day for us and it should space the tournament days enough to be somewhat successful. Same entry fees, same format as the Masters and Team Tournaments. There will be a big fish pot of $5 per person. Details and flyers to follow.
Members roscoe dog Posted March 2, 2006 Members Posted March 2, 2006 I will mark the date on the calender.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 2, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted March 2, 2006 April Fools Trout Tournament Appropriate name don't you think. Am I having a tournament or am I not!?!?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 2, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted March 2, 2006 One correction - live bait WILL be allowed. I'll have to change it on the html page.
Members roscoe dog Posted March 6, 2006 Members Posted March 6, 2006 Just wanted to make sure this is not a joke. You are having a tournament on the 1st right?
Brian K. Shaffer Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 So it's a go ? Or is it ? Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 6, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted March 6, 2006 This is no joke... It's actually going to be a benefit for the Junior/Senior class of Faith Christian Academy, a Christian School here in Branson. All proceeds will go to the class trip, as well as a donation of $25 per team from the resort. http://ozarkanglers.com/april_06.html
Members roscoe dog Posted March 8, 2006 Members Posted March 8, 2006 Hello Phil In other tournaments you have served food afterwards. Are you going to be doing it for this one?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Root Admin Posted March 8, 2006 That's a tough question... probably not. I'd like to but I try to limit it to just 2 tournaments per year.
Members roscoe dog Posted March 8, 2006 Members Posted March 8, 2006 Dang thats always some good food. Just wanted to know so I can plan out what to bring. Thanks
